Thru 5/3/10 – Anaconda Disabled American Veterans Memorial Chapter 13 DAV Fundraiser – Tickets are on sale now for the following prizes: a 42 inch Vizio LCD flat screen tv, two hundred dollars, and one hundred dollars. 3/10/10 - Tech Tips: Super Basics - 9-10am. Butte-Silver Bow Library. Learn the most basic functions of a computer, including the right and left mouse buttons, how to find programs in your start menu, how to cut and paste, and more! No computer experience is necessary! 3/11/10 - Tech Tips: Email - 9-10am. Butte-Silver Bow Library. Learn how to send and access messages, send attachments, and understand basic email safety tips. Students need to have an internet-based email account, such as hotmail, yahoo, or gmail. Students must know how to use a mouse an keyboard. Classes are free, but space is limited. 3/11/10 - 3/12/10 - Dwyer Elementary Kindergarten Registration - 8am-4pm. A child must be 5 years of age on or before September 10, 2010 in order to enroll in the 2010/2011 school year. Registration is taking place at Dwyer Elementary School (1601 Tammany St, Anaconda).
3/16/10 - Disabled American Veterans, Anaconda Memorial Chapter 13, Monthly Meeting - 7pm. Community Service Center (118 E. 7th St, Anaconda) Second floor.
3/16/10 - 37th Annual Shillelagh Shindig - 8pm - midnight. The Butte-Silver Bow Democrat Central Committee's annual event. The McQueen Club (3250 Hecla Street, Butte). Great food, liquor basket raffles, guest speakers, 50/50 drawing, live music and more! Free admission, donations are welcome. Music by Jacob's Pillow. 3/19/10 - East Middle School Benefit Auction - Front Street Station (8, W. Front St, Butte). Silent auction at 5:30pm. Live auction at 7pm. Benefits Earth Shuttle for East Middle School Students.
3/19/10 - Butte Country Club Fundraiser Dinner - 5-9pm. The Butte Country Club will host a seafood/prime rib dinner with an elegant buffet. $31.95 per person, which includes a $5 per plate donation to the Butte Emergency Food Bank. For reservations and information, call 494-2394.
3/20/10 - Butte-Silver Bow Relay For Life Kickoff - 10am-2pm. Butte Plaza Mall next to Herberger's. Information will be available about forming Relay For Life teams, Luminaria sales, team fundraisers. There will also be raffles and pictures with Spiderman. 3/20/10 - Copper Village Annual Benefit Auction - 6pm. Anaconda Elks Club. There will be games before tha main auction starts at 8:30pm, with over 40 items to bid on. The theme this year is "A Diamond In the Rough." Dress is semi-formal.
