Community comes first for us in everything we do, and we have many friends that we support and support us back, a good old fashioned Montana handshake of sorts. On this page we’ll keep you up on your community events and provide a list of our community partners. Community Alerts
Road Construction - Sletten Construction company and its subcontractors will be working in the Butte area on I-15/I-90 bridges just west of the Montana Street Interchange. The eastbound lanes will be closed, and they will have two-way traffic in the westbound lanes. Two-way traffic will remain in until the last week in October.
Work on the bridge includes the demolition of the current bridge and the reconstruction of a new interstate bridge.
The Following Streets are under construction and traffic control for water line replacements: Hornet Street - Traffic control is in place from Excelsior to Emmet and also from Zarelda to Empire on Emmet Street.
Washington Street - Traffic control is in place from Galena to Hold with Mercury and Porphyry open to traffic.
Empire Street - Traffic Control is in place from Excelsior to Emmet Street.
Silver Street - Traffic Control is in place from Emmet to Western Ave.

7/31/10 - Montana Tech and Montana Western have teamed up again to host the 2nd annual DiggerBulldog Golf Scramble, held 7/31/10. The four-person scramble will kick off with a shot gun start at 8:30am. Cost is $80 per person. To form a Montana Tech team, contact Peggy McCoy at 406-496-4402 or visit go.mtech.edu. Golf Tournament Benefit for Erik and Kelli Miller - Erik is in need of a kidney transplant and his sister Kelli is donating one of hers. This is to help with traveling and Medical cost for both of them. The tournament will be held at the High Land View Golf Course. We will be holding it on August 28th 2010. The shot gun starts at 8:30am. There are going to be lots of prizes and a new car for a hold in one sponsored by Butte GM Auto Center. There will be an after party at the McQueen Club.
